SellZan — Your Marketplace, Reimagined

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SellZan ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the SellZan mobile application and all related services.
By downloading, installing, or using SellZan, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SellZan.
SellZan is an online marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. Our services include:
SellZan acts as a platform facilitating transactions between independent buyers and sellers. We are not the seller of any products listed on the platform unless explicitly stated.
You must create an account to use most features of SellZan. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@sellzan.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
Each person may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, bans, or plan limits is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.
To sell on SellZan, you must open a shop and may be required to complete KYC verification. By listing products, you represent that:

SellZan charges a commission on wallet withdrawals based on your subscription plan (Free: 10%, Student: 5%). Commission rates are displayed clearly in the app and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
Seller plans (Free, Student) determine your product listing limits, flash sale limits, discount limits, and commission rate. Plan details are displayed in the app. SellZan reserves the right to change plan features with reasonable notice.
As a buyer on SellZan, you agree to:
SellZan uses an escrow payment system. When you place an order, your payment is held in escrow by SellZan until you confirm receipt of your order. Once you confirm receipt, funds are released to the seller's wallet.
Payments are processed through Paystack, a licensed payment service provider. By making a payment, you also agree to Paystack's terms of service.
Refunds are handled through the dispute resolution process. If a seller fails to deliver an order or the product significantly differs from its description, buyers may raise a dispute. SellZan will mediate and, where appropriate, initiate a refund.
Sellers may withdraw funds from their SellZan wallet to their mobile money or bank account. Withdrawals are subject to the applicable commission rate on your plan and may take 1-3 business days to process.
If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, either party may raise a dispute through the app within 7 days of order delivery. SellZan will review the dispute and make a determination based on available evidence.
SellZan's dispute decision is final for transactions processed through the platform. For disputes involving significant sums, we may request additional documentation from both parties.
You agree not to:
SellZan and its logo, design, and content are owned by SellZan and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
By uploading content (photos, descriptions, posts) to SellZan, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform for the purpose of operating the service.
You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you own or have the right to use all content you upload.
SellZan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
SellZan is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk, subject to the protections provided by our escrow system.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SellZan's total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to SellZan in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
You may close your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support@sellzan.com. Account closure does not affect pending orders or disputes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of SellZan after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SellZan shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
